Artist trading cards for an International Arts Connect project run by my high school art teacher. Some of them had to be certain themes and some were whatever I wanted.

The second artist trading card I did tonight. I like this much better than the Fiji mermaid. The outfit was based on my sister’s sketches of various fashionable outfits.
Micron and colored pencil. And yeah, the background is gold pencil. Lol.

“Mermaid from Fiji”
An artist trading card I did for an event tonight. A friend gave me the idea to take the sticker off the front of my Fiji water and put it on top of a mermaid drawing, as if she were inside the bottle. If you’re curious about why the sticker is transparent but there’s a background in the linked image, it’s because the background is a separate sticker on the back of the bottle. (I really like their bottle design, haha)
Ehh….I don’t think I should’ve added pencil. Color pencil might’ve been a better choice. This is my first time doing a trading card though. I have to make one more. What to draw next, hm….8D;
I’m glad the ATCs are hitting it off.

I am currently doing a workshop in Racine, one sixth street at the Blacked Eyed Press called Artist Trading Cards. I am inviting people to come and will post some images of what I’ve done so far. =3
